Join about 2500 members of Scouts Canada and Boy Scouts of America at an international camp and start your Scouting year off with a bang!

 

 

Who: Cubs, Scouts, and Venturer age youth.
Where: Historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario
When: September 20-22, 2013

The Scout Brigade of Fort George, a living history event re-enacting the Battle for Fort George since 1984. Come and join the Scout Brigade, learn about life in the Army of 1812. Your role as a Scout will be in a company of infantry in one of our regiments participating in musket re-enactment battles. Venturers will join our artillery camp.  Cubs will be learning about Forts with games, musket drills and cartridge making. The camp is fully catered. A highlight for the camp and the town is when we parade into Niagara-on-the-Lake Saturday afternoon.

 

If your group has been before, be sure to register before the August 15th deadline, if you have never attended, why not make this the year you give it a try and be part of the special events commemorating the War of 1812.
