Apple Day Event

On Saturday October 13th, 2012 participating Beavers, accompanied by their parents, are invited to meet at Sandalwood Park, at the southwest corner of Sandalwood Parkway and Conestoga Drive at 8:30AM (see the map Bellow) for our Apple Day event.

The park is sponsored by the same group that sponsors our Scouts Group, the Knights of Columbus. They have asked our Scouts Group to help clean up the park, and thus our day will start with a park clean-up followed by the Apple Day initiative. Apple Day involves the offering of the public with a request for donations to Scouts Canada, to raise funds for our Scouts Group. This is done by members of the group, such as the Beavers accompanied by their parents, at designated authorized (such as grocery stores).

This is an entirely voluntary activity. We express our gratitude in advance to those who take the time to participate.
